Terms of Service
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These terms govern use of DispatchLine’s website, portal and phone-answering service. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your business.
1. The service
DispatchLine answers calls forwarded to a number we assign you, using an automated voice agent configured from the settings and business facts you provide. It may book appointments, send text messages, and alert your team according to those settings. It is a tool operated under your instructions; you remain responsible for what it says on your behalf and for the accuracy of the information you give it.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and by team members you add.
3. Plans, minutes and billing
- Paid plans are One Truck $149/month, Crew $299/month and Fleet $549/month, chosen by how many trucks you run. There is no monthly minute allowance and no per-minute charge. Sign-up is self-serve: subscription checkout captures a payment method and starts your free trial, and nothing is charged during it. On day 4 we charge the plan you chose, and the subscription renews monthly until you cancel. There is no separate charge for building, scripting, connecting and testing your agent. All prices are USD; taxes and final totals are shown at checkout.
- Free trial: sign-up is self-serve and open to any US business, with no application and no approval step, one trial per business. The trial runs 3 days from the start of your subscription, or 150 talk minutes, whichever comes first. A payment method is captured at subscription checkout and is not charged during those days. A call can last up to 8 minutes, as on every paid plan. Trial minutes never generate overage. Answering and booking pause at the limit and callers hear a short message saying the line is paused; call admission uses conservative reservations and may pause earlier when too little safe allowance remains. After checkout we build your agent from the setup wizard you completed and buy a local number for your account. That number does not answer incoming calls until you press Test call in the portal and hear the agent yourself, and the forwarding steps unlock once that call is done. Your original number stays with your carrier: use after-hours, overflow or unconditional forwarding, not number porting. Forwarding must be restored and checked with your carrier when you stop the service; we cannot automatically change your carrier settings. On day 4 the plan you chose is charged unless you cancel from the billing page first, and a trial canceled before day 4 is not charged at all. Canceling during the free trial ends the trial at once: your agent stops answering and the remaining trial minutes end with it.
- Existing customers keep the terms they agreed to when they signed up, including any allowance, rate, activation condition or guarantee window that differs from the ones published here. Starting a trial does not restart, extend or replace a subscription or a trial you already have.
- Paid plans have no monthly minute allowance and no per-minute charge: the monthly fee is the whole charge for answered calls. Each plan carries published fair-use guidance for the size of business it is sold to. Fair use is not a meter and does not stop your line; if your answered minutes run well past it we contact you about moving to the next plan.
- You may change plans at any time; an upgrade takes effect the same day, a downgrade at the next billing cycle.
- You may cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation stops future charges; fees already paid are not refunded except as stated in section 4. Our refund and cancellation policy sets this out in full.
- If payment fails or subscription access expires, we notify you and may pause automated answering and booking until valid payment and subscription access are restored.
4. First-month guarantee
If, in the 14 days after your agent goes live, it has not booked at least one appointment on your board, you may request a refund of your first month’s plan fee by emailing hello@getdispatchline.com within 7 days after that 14-day period. “Booked” means an appointment the agent created, whether or not the customer kept it. The refund is made to the original payment method. The guarantee refunds the first monthly plan fee actually charged. If no monthly plan fee has been charged, there is no subscription payment to return and we cancel future subscription charges unless you ask to continue. See the refund policy for cancellation details.
For accounts on the free trial, the 14-day guarantee window above begins when your agent goes live, which is the moment your number starts answering after your test call. It includes the free trial days and does not restart when the first monthly charge is taken on day 4. Internal setup testing does not start it. Only a monthly fee actually charged can be refunded, so a trial canceled before day 4 has no payment to return: see section 3 of the refund policy. Existing customers retain their original guarantee terms.
Every call can last up to 8 minutes, on the free trial and on every paid plan. During the free trial that limit is reduced when less allowance or time remains. Usage is rounded up per call to whole minutes. In-progress calls reserve allowance; if completion cannot be confirmed, the reservation is conservatively counted as used. Apart from the 8-minute limit per call, these are trial limits and are not a description of paid-plan capacity.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to make or receive calls or texts that are unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or that violate telemarketing, consumer-protection or privacy laws (including the TCPA). You are responsible for complying with call-recording laws in your state and in your callers’ states; when recording is on, the agent announces it at the start of every call, and the portal lets you turn recording (and with it the announcement) off. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
5a. Text messaging
Texts are not sent from your own number, and not from the number we assign you for calls. They go out from a single DispatchLine messaging number that we operate for every business on the platform, and only once carriers have approved that number for business messaging. Your business name is what identifies you in the message body: we put it at the start of every appointment confirmation, and you must keep it in any follow-up you send from the portal. Any recipient may stop texts by replying STOP; we honor that automatically and you must not attempt to bypass it. Because the sending number is shared, an opt-out stops our texts to that recipient on behalf of every business on the platform, including yours. The service sends transactional messages only (confirmations, follow-ups to people who contacted you, alerts to your own team); you may not use it for marketing texts.
6. Phone numbers
Numbers we assign remain ours while you use the service. You may port a number we assign you out when you leave, subject to carrier rules. You keep your own business number; you control forwarding.
7. Your data
Your configuration, call recordings, transcripts and appointment data are yours. We process them to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export call data from the portal at any time.
8. Limits of an automated service
The agent is automated, and it says so at the start of every call: a fixed opening sentence, spoken before your greeting, tells the caller that the call is answered by an automated assistant. It may mishear, misclassify a call, or fail to reach a caller. It is not a substitute for a human in a life-safety situation; it is instructed to tell callers to leave the building and call 911 or the gas utility when a caller mentions gas, smoke, fire or a carbon-monoxide alarm, and to say again that it is an automated assistant if a caller asks. These are instructions to a language model and can fail; you must not rely on them as your only safeguard, and you should not rely on the service for emergency dispatch. We do not guarantee any particular number of calls answered or jobs booked, additional revenue or profit. Calculator results are illustrative scenarios based on your inputs, not forecasts; booked appointments are not completed or paid jobs.
8a. What the service is not
DispatchLine is not a dispatch service, a human answering service, or a substitute for your own on-call arrangements. It does not diagnose problems, quote prices you have not provided, take payments, or give legal or safety advice beyond the instructions you approve in the portal.
9. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Telephony depends on third-party carriers. Planned maintenance will be announced in the portal.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DispatchLine’s total liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost jobs or revenue.
11. Termination
Either party may end the agreement at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; your agent keeps answering until the end of the period you have paid for. Within 30 days of closure we delete your recordings, transcripts and appointment data and ask our voice provider to delete its copies, unless you have exported them or the law requires longer retention.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to the account owner 14 days before they take effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. DispatchLine is operated from Israel and sells to businesses rather than to consumers; nothing here is intended to remove a mandatory protection that the law of your own state gives you. Before any dispute is filed, both parties agree to try to resolve it by email first.
