Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

DispatchLine is sold as a month-to-month subscription that starts with a 3-day free trial. All prices and refunds on this page are in US dollars (USD). This page states plainly when money is returned and when it is not, so there are no surprises on either side. It applies to every plan.

1. The short version

You can cancel at any time and your subscription will not renew. Fees for a service period that has already started are not refunded, in whole or in part. Your first 3 days are free and nothing is charged before day 4, so until that first charge there is normally nothing to refund. There is one exception after it, the first-month guarantee in section 4, which we publish because we would rather you tried the service than wondered about it.

1a. The free trial and your first charge

Sign-up is self-serve and open to any US business, with no application and no approval step. Your trial runs 3 days from the start of your subscription or 150 talk minutes, whichever comes first. A payment method is captured at checkout and nothing is charged before day 4. A call can last up to 8 minutes. Trial minutes are free and never incur overage: when the allowance runs out, answering and booking pause and callers hear a short message saying the line is paused. If you stop the service, restore and test forwarding with your carrier, because we cannot change carrier settings for you.

On day 4 we charge the plan you chose, and the subscription renews monthly until you cancel. Monthly prices are One Truck $149, Crew $299 and Fleet $549, before applicable taxes, with the final total shown at checkout. There is no separate charge for building, scripting, connecting and testing your agent, so your monthly plan fee is the only amount we bill. Cancel from the billing page before day 4 and you are not charged at all. Canceling during the free trial ends the trial at once: your agent stops answering and the remaining trial minutes end with it. Because the trial itself is free, there is no trial payment to return; the first monthly charge is the one the first-month guarantee in section 4 can refund.

Existing subscriptions: customers who signed up under earlier terms retain them, including their own trial length, allowance, activation conditions and guarantee window. Starting a trial does not restart or extend a subscription you already have.

2. Canceling a subscription

  • Cancel from the billing page in your portal, at any time, without contacting us and without giving a reason.
  • Your agent keeps answering until the end of the period you have already paid for. You do not lose the days you bought.
  • We do not pro-rate. Canceling in the middle of a month does not produce a partial refund for the unused days of that month.
  • No usage charge arrives after you cancel. Paid plans carry no per-minute charge, so once your paid period ends there is nothing further to bill. Trial minutes never incur overage. Nothing else is charged, and your subscription does not renew.

3. Before your first charge

Nothing is charged during the 3 days of the trial. The work of building, scripting, connecting and testing your agent happens in that window and is not billed separately, so there is nothing to refund for it either.

You can cancel from the billing page at any point before day 4, without contacting us and without giving a reason. The subscription then does not start and no plan fee is taken. Canceling during the free trial ends the trial at once: your agent stops answering and the remaining trial minutes end with it. If you would rather talk to a person first, email us and we will reply within one business day.

Once the first monthly charge has been taken on day 4, the ordinary rules on this page apply: a service period that has already begun is not refunded, except under the first-month guarantee in section 4.

4. First-month guarantee

This is the one case where we refund a fee for service you have already received.

If, in the 14 days after your agent goes live, it has not booked at least one appointment on your board, you may request a refund of your first month’s plan fee actually charged by emailing hello@getdispatchline.com within 7 days after that 14-day period. “Booked” means an appointment the agent created, whether or not the customer kept it.

If no monthly plan fee has been charged, there is no subscription payment to return; we cancel future subscription charges unless you ask to continue. Canceling during the trial is covered by section 3.

For trial accounts, the 14-day guarantee window starts when your agent goes live, which is the moment your number starts answering after your test call, and it includes the free trial days. Internal setup testing does not start it, and the first monthly charge on day 4 does not restart it. The guarantee only returns a monthly fee actually charged; it cannot refund a free period. Existing customers retain their original guarantee terms.

Two things we do alongside a qualifying refund:

  • We cancel your subscription at the same time, unless you tell us you want to keep it. You do not have to remember to cancel separately, and you are not charged for a second month while waiting for the refund.
  • The plan fee is the whole refund, because it is the whole charge. There is no per-minute billing to waive.

The refund is made to the original payment method.

5. What we do not refund

  • Any service period that has already begun, that is, any period during which your agent was answering calls for you, except under the first-month guarantee in section 4.

6. If something went wrong

If you were charged in error, charged twice, or billed after your subscription ended, that is not a refund question and we simply fix it. Email support@getdispatchline.com with the date and amount and we will correct it.

If the service was unavailable for a sustained period through our fault, contact us and we will agree a credit or a refund with you.

You always keep the right to dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, and nothing on this page limits it. We would rather hear from you first, because we can usually fix a billing problem the same day, but that is a preference and not a condition.

7. How to request a refund

Email hello@getdispatchline.com from the address on the account, and tell us the company name and which charge you mean. We reply within one business day. Approved refunds are returned in full, to the original payment method, with no processing fee or other deduction on our side, and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.

8. Who you are buying from
